Sharon is a freelance floral designer with over three years of hands-on experience creating beautiful, thoughtfully designed florals for weddings and special events. Her passion for floral design is rooted in her educational background in biology and studio art, combined with a deep love for the botanical world. Sharon received her floral education from renowned international floral designers including Leanne Kesler, Susan McLeary and Lys Lytle. She is committed to staying current with floral trends while continually innovating and creating designs that feel fresh, intentional, and distinctive.

Sharon’s design style is inspired by the way flowers and plants grow naturally. Her work emphasizes organic movement, rich texture, and the thoughtful use of space as a design element. She believes the strongest designs are grounded in nature, and her meticulous attention to detail ensures each floral element contributes to a cohesive and refined overall aesthetic.

Weddings and events are at the heart of Sharon’s work. She is passionate about designing full visual stories through florals, creating moments that couples will remember forever. Translating a couple’s personality into flowers, being part of a once-in-a-lifetime celebration, and witnessing the joy on her clients’ faces when they see their florals for the first time are aspects of her work she genuinely loves.

Suzzette Patten brings over a decade of hands-on experience in wedding and event florals. Known for her thoughtful approach and refined aesthetic, Suzzette specializes in creating floral designs that feel intentional, elevated, and deeply personal.

Her work is rooted in understanding the full scope of an event—balancing colour theory, texture, seasonal blooms, venue architecture, and emotional storytelling to create cohesive floral experiences. From curated bridal bouquets to large-scale ceremony installations and immersive tablescapes, every design is crafted with precision and purpose.

Suzzette is recognized for her calm presence, professionalism, and collaborative spirit, making her a trusted creative partner for planners, venues, and clients alike. She brings not only strong design execution, but also a deep respect for timelines, logistics, and the importance of seamless coordination on event days.

Floral Designer – Rashida

Rashida began working with Trade Sensation Events & Co in 2017 as a Freelance Floral Designer, she is also the proud owner of Hana Floral Designs and Co since 2015. With over 10 years of Floral Design, experience. Rashida grew up in Dubai, where she graduated with a Bachelors of Systems Analysis working for Emirates Airlines for a number of years. Her floral journey started after getting her training in floral design, techniques, ideas and application styles in a Floral Academy in Dubai, along with working side by side with a high end Floral Designer in Dubai. She is also classically trained on Henna application and that knowledge of abstract art, leads her to create one of a kind floral designs that are “out of the box” and stunning.

Her attention to detail and creative flare is what attracts clients to her, not to mention her colourful personality! As a part of Trade Sensation Floral Team she has brought so much positive change in both innovation and design.

Rashida is also the Floral Instructor for Trade Sensation Wedding Academy (TSWA) – www.TSWA.ca – and loves to teach others the techniques she has learned and share her floral passion. Although she does have a floral shop, Wedding and Event Floral Design is her “first love”. The idea of designing an entire wedding “floral look”, through her clients eyes, paying the utmost attention to all of your colours, favorite flower, designs etc, bring her great joy and ensure she will exceed all of your expectations, for the most important milestone of you life.

Her work has featured in Wedding Bells, Elegant Magazine, and most recently “Wedding Chicks” Blog in January 2018.

Whether it’s a wedding, private function or corporate event, seeing the look on my client’s faces is worth all of the blood, sweat and tears it took to get to that very moment.
